Last year’s European Young Meditators' Conference on Hvar

EUROPEAN WORLD PEACE ASSEMBLY (WPA)

14. – 28. September 2013

Vrboska, Hvar

The tradition of WPAs on the beautiful island of Hvar started in 2002, near the oldest Croatian city, Stari Grad, founded 2500 years ago by ancient Greeks. The Greeks called it Faros, which means “light”. These WPA’s attracted hundreds of course participants, year after year, and we were delighted to revive this tradition last year with the European Young Meditators' Conference, WPA week with Raja Felix, and talks on Brahma Sutras with Prince Blücher, which will be continued this year, as requested by many participants of previous courses.

During the first week Dr Mona Kägi-Causemann will give an overview of the 40 Aspects of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, an introduction to Maharishi Aroma Therapy, tips on diet and digestion and Ayurvedic routine, and review the Electronic Model of Vedic Physiology whose sounds have a very profound influence on balancing the entire physiology. See detailed description below.

Come and join us in modern villas with proper orientation and the scenic environment of Vrboska – a peaceful small town situated on the north side of the Island Hvar. You will enjoy deep knowledge and experiences, special events, beautiful nature, crystal clear sea and lovely beaches (with sea still warm for swimming), delicious Ayurvedic food and blissful company of like-minded people from many different countries. Island of Hvar is regularly elected as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world. More on the island HVAR: film by the photographer Ralf Uicker.

WPA fee (without housing and meals):

81  Euro/week for course participants from Croatia and Eastern Europe

“Yogic Flying and Yagyas are the only thing that will effectively uphold world consciousness on an eternal level of invincibility… ”

– Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

The Global Peace Initiative is being undertaken based on what Maharishi considered to be the most effective way to ensure that permanent peace is quickly realised for our world family.

Participants will get a comprehensive overview of the Maharishi Pandit Project at the Brahmasthan of India – how it all started, the latest developments, the current situation, as well as what is planned for the future. Furthermore you will be introduced to the organisational structure that is turning Maharishi’s vision into reality. And finally you will see the full range of possibilities for every one of us to contribute our own share. So many people have expressed that getting involved in this project, in even a small way, has been one of the greatest blessings of their lives!

Experience live recitation by the Maharishi Vedic Pandits broadcast from the Brahmasthan of India.

Listen to a beautiful knowledge talk by Raja Harris, Raja of India.

MAHARISHI AYUR-VEDA

40 Aspects of Maharishi Ayur-Veda

Introduction to Maharishi Aroma Therapy

Tips on diet and digestion and Ayurvedic routine

16 - 20 September 2013

During the first week of the WPA, Dr Mona Kägi-Causemann, a Maharishi Ayur-Veda consultant, will give an overview of the 40 Aspects of Maharishi Ayur-Veda, Introduction to Maharishi Aroma Therapy, and tips on diet and digestion and Ayurvedic routine. We will also listen to the Electronic Model of Vedic Physiology, which has a very profound influence on balancing the entire physiology.

Electronic Model of Vedic Physiology

With Maharishi’s inspiration an electronic display of Maharaja’s discovery of Veda in the Human Physiology has been developed by the Global Health Ministry. This technically sophisticated and well-designed display explains Maharaja’s discovery with the help of a human figure and blinking lights indicating where the Vedic sounds express themselves in the human physiology. The presentation is supported by an easy to understand commentary of about 30 minutes, which describes how the 10 Mandals of Rik Ved express themselves in the human body. After each Mandal a short Vedic recitation of that particular Mandal is heard while the blinking lights continue to indicate the counterpart in the body.

This combination of understanding, hearing, seeing, and experiencing links the intellectual understanding of Maharaja’s discovery with the direct experience of Veda in the Human Physiology and allows the viewer to realize how these sounds enliven the body’s inner intelligence. This leads to the complete absorption of a key aspect in Maharishi’s teaching: Natural Law is the source and basis of our existence and can be used to enliven the body’s inner intelligence.

Hvar is a beautiful island with many gorgeous bays and turquoise blue soft water
for swimming, lush vegetation and historical towns.

MAHARISHI ON BRAHMA SUTRAS

with guest lecturer Prince Blücher

22. – 28. September 2013

We are very delighted that Prince Blücher from Germany will join us during this week of the World Peace Assembly and give some insightful talks about Maharishi’s commentary on the Brahma Sutras. Prince Blücher attended the first Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course in India and had the rare opportunity to be with Maharishi when he worked on the commentary of the Brahma Sutras. Prince Blücher was very enthusiastically received when he first spoke on Maharishi and the Brahma Sutras during a course at the Brahmasthan of India. Now we have the privilege to welcome Prince Blücher again on our course on the Island of Hvar, Croatia.

The Brahma Sutras are a very special Vedic text, which is traditionally called Vedanta, the end of the Veda. Under many circumstances Maharishi has commented on the Brahma Sutras. Every single sutra deals with nothing other than wholeness and in a way contains the whole set of the Brahma Sutras. Prince Blucher will review the Brahma Sutras in the light of experiences of growing consciousness.

About the guest lecturer: Prince Blücher was the first National Leader of the German TM Movement. He was initiated into Transcendental Meditation in 1960 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Stuttgart, during his first stay in Germany. He attended the first Teacher Training Course for 3 months in 1961 in Rishikesh and along with his wife attended, almost yearly, courses with Maharishi, including the Enlightenment Course in Vlodrop, Holland. Prince Blücher is now living in Grison, Switzerland.
